日常生活的奇觀，或者說，奇觀與被奇觀社會所推疊出的日常生活與生命意義的矛盾和張力，以及兩者互相碰撞所產生的能量和創造力，一直是我想要創作的主題。在奇觀及多元的當代社會生活和經濟環境下，事實上，人們可以跨越各類領域、或突破各種規訓(Disciplinary)，如同各類支流般地去組織和衍伸出種種解放形式；然而我們對於所謂「奇觀社會」的美學思考很顯然地不應只是一種關於社會批判的解放呈現，而是關於整體社會環境與城市美學的一種創造性；更重要的是，這些關連到社會現象、環境景觀、或城市美學有關的「奇觀社會」思考，能夠進一步地擴張其詮釋當代社會面貌的文化或美學力量。
Everyday spectacles, or
the ironies and dynamics of everyday life and everyday significances compiled
by spectacles or the society of the spectacle, and also the energy and
creativity sparked by the two have always been the theme of my art. Under the
spectacular and diverse contemporary society and economic environment, people
are able to transcend domains and break through different disciplinary. Each
different school of thought is able to freely organize and extend into open
formats. However, our aesthetical thoughts pertaining to the so called "the
society of the spectacle" should not just be open presentations of social
criticism; rather, it should be a form of creativity based on the entire social
setting and the urban aesthetics. More importantly, the thoughts on the society
of the spectacle related to social phenomena, environmental landscapes, or
urban aesthetics should be able to further expand on the interpretation of the
cultural or aesthetical dynamics projected by the contemporary society.
